Job Summary The Prober Lab is seeking a research technician to assist with zebrafish genetic, molecular, behavioral and imaging experiments. Essential Job Duties Perform zebrafish husbandry tasks Perform zebrafish genotyping Assist with zebrafish genetics and behavioral experiments Independent research project is possible, depending on level of experience Basic Qualifications B.S. degree One year of relevant lab experience that is not part of a course, including experience with PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, and other molecular biology techniques. Preferred Qualifications Experience performing genetic experiments using model organisms, especially zebrafish. Required Documents Resume. Hiring Range $18.50 - $22.50 Per Hour The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
