What You Need to Know

The Associate Creative Director is responsible for managing and developing multimedia marketing, communications and branding initiatives with meaningful and measurable impact, achieves marketing/strategic goals, and satisfies client brand requirements for internal and external audiences. Provides creative direction and strategic leadership, shaping copy, design, and multimedia storytelling from concept to execution. Collaborates on marketing/communications strategies and objectives with the Marketing & Communications team and partners with teams from across the organization on their creative requests/needs; serves as a brand leader who solves strategic and creative issues while enhancing the end-user's confidence in the Creative department. Leverages current and explores trending creative channels (e.g. video, digital) and technologies to cultivate new concepts and promote exciting new ideas. Ensures the timely execution of plans, campaigns and projects to assure budget, brand growth and goals are achieved. Collaborates with other teams within the Marketing & Communications department (Communications, Social Media, Marketing, Digital Analytics).

  • Leads the development of multimedia concepts, strategies, and client presentations.
  • Manages and supervises multiple projects and team members.
  • Ensures resources are allocated according to project needs.
  • Directs the design and development of creative materials.
  • Ensures brand identity and message consistency across channels.
  • Meets client objectives, values, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Leads and participates in brainstorming sessions.
  • Keeps up with the latest trends, strategies, and technologies.
  • Evaluates creative team performance and guiding improvements
  • Guide teams through creative concepting, execution and delivery in accordance with departmental processes and brand standards
  • Supports Marketing and Communications with the development of concepts, strategies, and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with other departments and team members to identify questions and pertinent project information needed to execute assignments.
  • Work with SVP, Marketing & Communications and other team leads to assign work.
  • Manage creative staff and freelance to ensure their work meets company standards, including the ability to clearly articulate feedback and provide constructive oversite that elevates the creative product.
  • Mentor and inspire teams to perform at the maximum of their abilities and foster reputation as a trusted partner and problem solvers.
  • Assure that creative work meets client objectives, follows strategies aligned to the brief and meets deadlines on budget.

Qualifications

Be the Best Associate Creative Director You Can Be

If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you!

  • 8+ years in a senior designer or art director role in marketing, communications, graphic design or related field.
  • Experience in healthcare or B2B brands desired.
  • Experience in developing multimedia creative content (design, video, digital, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge of branding, design principles, and campaign development.
  • Experience leading and managing creative teams
  • Strong concept and strategy development skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong creative mind.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Expert in Adobe Creative suite and Microsoft software (PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Word)
