Overview
You will be part of a fast-paced production team, responsible for assembling pre-cut lumber and materials into high-quality wall panels. You'll work from engineered drawings and layout sheets to build each panel to exact specifications. This is a day shift position offering steady work, hands-on training, and opportunities for growth in the construction materials industry.
Responsibilities:
Assemble wall panels using wood components, nail guns, and measuring tools. Read and interpret engineered blueprints and layout sheets accurately. Ensure all panels meet quality and measurement standards. Use power tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Work collaboratively with teammates to meet daily production goals. Follow all safety protocols and 84 Lumber procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Prior experience in framing, carpentry, or construction is a plus. Ability to read a tape measure accurately and do basic math. Comfortable working with hand and power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities
Read and understand set-up sheets. Position plates properly. Operate gantry. Verify lumber accuracy with sheets. Verify truss set up is accurate. Perform daily operator maintenance. Maintain 100% crew efficiency. Mark individual trusses when required. Train Builder Associates.
Qualifications
Able to read and write in their primary language. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to read or able to learn to read a set up sheet. Able to lift 50 pounds.
