  • Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more.

Responsibilities

This lead mammography tech is responsible for the daily clinical and administrative operations of the mammography department, assisting in the delivery of personalized, professional and quality patient care, internal and external customer service, performance of all Mammography examinations, transportation of patients to and from Imaging Services, preparation of all departmental paperwork, answering the department's telephone, scheduling of patients, entering and retrieving patient information from the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS) and maintaining the work area in a clean and organized manner.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology.
  • 2+ years of experience as a mammography technologist
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a General Medical Radiologic Technologist (GMRT)
  • Registered radiologic technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
