Position Summary: Travere Therapeutics is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to drive strategic alignment rooted in shared priorities with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Academic Centers of Excellence, and Large Nephrology Group Practices. By identifying mutual goals across clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and population health impact, the SAM facilitates long-term partnerships that support clinical pathway integration, value-based care models, and multidisciplinary coordination. This role is a field-based, above-brand strategist responsible for aligning Travere's commitment to advancing care for rare glomerular diseases-such as IgA nephropathy and FSGS-with the strategic imperatives of key healthcare organizations
Responsibilities: Account Strategy & Engagement * Lead strategic planning and execution across target healthcare organizations, aligning on shared clinical, operational, and economic priorities. * Identify and prioritize key accounts using a data-driven lens of market opportunity, institutional fit, and engagement readiness. * Develop tailored account engagement plans and reviews that elevate rare kidney disease care models. Customer Engagement * Build high-value relationships with C-suite leaders, line directors, nephrologists, P&T stakeholders, care pathway leaders, and multidisciplinary teams. * Facilitate collaborative opportunities for co-developing best practices in clinical pathways, early diagnosis, and care transitions. * Identify opportunities to expand access, improve diagnosis rates, and support durable kidney preservation strategies. Cross-Functional Coordination * Serve as the primary point of contact and orchestrator across internal partners including Medical Affairs, Field Medical (MSLs), Marketing, Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs), Sales, Patient Advocacy, HEOR, Patient Services, and Market Access teams. * Lead internal business planning for strategic accounts, ensuring coordination of unbranded education, peer-to-peer programs, REMS coordination, and clinical protocol implementation. * Drive ecosystem collaboration to track key metrics, deliver regular performance updates, and action plans. Insights & Impact * Capture, synthesize, and communicate actionable insights to internal stakeholders to shape strategy, education, and access programs. * Track and report progress against key account metrics including pathway adoption, patient identification trends, engagement outcomes, and resource utilization. Education/Experience Requirements: * Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, PharmD, or MS) preferred. * Minimum 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry; experience in nephrology, rare disease, or specialty care preferred. * Proven track record in strategic account management, healthcare system engagement, or field-based leadership roles. Additional Skills/Experience/Requirements: * The ideal candidate will embody Travere's core values: Courage, Community Spirit, Patient Focus and Teamwork. * Deep understanding of value-based care, clinical integration, and the healthcare provider ecosystem (IDNs, ACOs, academic centers). * Ability to work cross-functionally, navigate ambiguity, and lead without authority. * Strong business acumen, communication, and consultative selling skills. * Demonstrated ability to build executive-level relationships and influence across matrixed healthcare organization. * Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Successful record of creating and managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths. * Ability to adapt to modification and changes to project plans, demonstrating flexibility to implement new strategies and tactics to accommodate these changes. * Ability to travel 60 % domestic and internationally. * The ability to perform face to face work with customers, colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego, and the ability to satisfactorily meet credentialling requirements for access to healthcare facilities and customer sites within your territory on an ongoing basis, are essential job functions of this position.

Compensation: Our competitive compensation package includes a combination of both cash compensation (base pay and short-term incentive) and long-term incentive compensation (company stock), designed to recognize, retain, and reward employees. Target Base Pay Range: $170,000.00 - $221,000.00
