This position is two roles in one - executive assistant and financial/budget analyst. You will support Information Technology Solutions, the School of Medicine, and UCR Health. No two days will be the same.
The Senior Administrative Officer position is unique in that it fulfills two roles within a group in Information Technology Solutions (ITS) that supports the School of Medicine (SOM) and UCR Health. This role will report to the Associate CIO of the SOM and serve as his/her/they executive assistant as well as a financial analyst for the SOM IT Operations group. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Associate CIO, including but not limited to, calendaring, coordinating travel, drafting agendas, and coordinating events led by the Associate CIO. In addition, this position will serve as a financial analyst for the SOM IT Operations group which includes preparing financial transactions and budget transfers, performing monthly reconciliations of financial and budgetary transactions, assisting the CFAO of ITS with the fiscal close process for the SOM IT Operations group, and providing analytical support (including forecasting) for complex budget or financial projects. Finally, this position will coordinate all travel and process travel reimbursement requests for all ITS staff. This position is classified as hybrid with a minimum of 2 days required on-site and 3 days working from home. The full salary range for the Administrative Officer is $81,500 - $150,100 annually. However, the pay scale for this position is up to $105,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, UCR is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
