Janitor

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and ensures that our building remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors as needed
• Empty trash and recycling bins and restock supplies
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management of low stock
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or unclogging sinks
• Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
• Respond to cleaning emergencies in a timely manner
• Secure facilities after hours if assigned to evening shifts
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Basic understanding of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
