**This is a Temporary/Seasonal position from 05/28/25 to 08/22/25** **Schedule: Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm** **Pay Range: $10.75/Hour** The Salvation Army Mission: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Summary/Primary Purpose: Lee County, Iowa is one of the highest food insecure counties in Iowa. During the school year children are fed at school with breakfast and lunch, however, in the summer many children go without proper nutrition. Working in conjunction with the Keokuk School District, The Salvation Army provides a meal per day to children throughout Lee County who are not able to walk to the school for a free summer lunch. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Working Conditions: The majority of the workday will be outdoors to serve food to children and may be exposed to varying weather conditions and noise levels that are low to moderate.
