The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the development of financial reporting throughout the agency to include performance dashboards. This position is responsible for initial and continuous training and guidance on financial reporting and analysis and will be responsible for developing financial literacy tools and training for staff. This position will also be responsible for assisting with the annual budgeting, the cost reports filing and oversight of department financial systems.

Essential Job Functions
    • Assist with the annual budgeting process and training of other staff on the process
    • Develop and maintain financial reporting templates and dashboards
    • Work with departments in the development of financial performance metrics and other measurement tools
    • Develop variance analysis reports and utilize for making recommendations
    • Develop and administers financial literacy trainings for staff and organizational leadership
    • Assist with the annual cost reports filing
    • Maintain the library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets
    • Assist oversight of department financial systems (Sage, Stampli, OneSite, etc...)
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Summary
    • Bachelor of Science in Finance, Economics or related field.
    • Three years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience
    • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Must be flexible and able to adjust to priorities and work under the pressure of deadlines, as work atmosphere is a rapidly changing environment.
    • Sound critical thinking and decision-making skills.
    • Highly proficient in technology and innovation.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, contractors, auditors, vendors, government officials and clients
    • Knowledge of homeless issues and demonstrated sensitivity to and a desire to work with underserved populations.
    • Knowledge of financial reporting and performance dashboards
    • Ability to research, compile, analyze and disseminate information
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, examples of functionalities that are commonly used are; Vlookup, simple Macros, pivot tables, conditional formatting, power query. (VBA experience a plus.)
$74,302 - $89,163 a year
