Recovery Coach - Full Time ( $2,000 Sign On Bonus) !!

The Recovery Coach (RC) is a professional who is currently in recovery and has personal lived experience with addiction and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. The RC has undergone training designed to support peers who have similar experiences, focusing on instilling hope, facilitating the exploration of recovery paths, and aiding in the achievement of individual life goals.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. Working days are Monday - Friday.

**Essential Functions**

The Recovery Coach will provide peer recovery support services to individuals with substance use disorders (SUD) and will facilitate their attainment of sustained recovery. The primary responsibility of the RC is to advocate for the voices and choices of the individuals they support while minimizing power differentials. This position will enable patient access to recovery-oriented treatment for substance use disorders, resources, and community support groups. The Recovery Coach will maintain ongoing support for patients regardless of any relapses, serving as a motivator, ally, role model, problem-solver, and advocate for individuals with substance use disorders. The RC should possess a comprehensive understanding of community culture to effectively address barriers to successful recovery, tailor health messages, and provide connections to relevant community resources and treatment options.

  • Completion of Recovery Coach Academy is required
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team setting
