Position Summary

Under limited supervision, the Administrative Assistant Intern will oversee the reception area of the Administrative Suite and serve as
the first point of contact for callers and visitors. The Administrative Assistant Intern will coordinate student appointments with
academic advisors and occupants of the Administrative Suite; place work orders for building maintenance, assist with room
scheduling, distribute and log incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail, assist with mass mailings, photocopying and running campus
errands as needed. The Administrative Assistant Intern will perform a broad range of duties and provide general administrative
support to staff and faculty administrators as needed. Interns may be asked to assist with various School events and assist with
moving chairs and tables.

  • Experience providing customer service
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Experience using MicroSoft Office applications, Outlook Calendar, and Zoom
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
