Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is looking for a Contracts Manager who will manage a variety of U.S. Federal contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements. The optimum candidate will provide support to business units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. Will manage contract activities for all DecisionPoint projects and vendors.

This position is on a hybrid telecommute model with work being onsite in Reston, VA.



Duties & Responsibilities

    Oversee and manage all current DPC contracts and new modifications
  • Manages NDA and Teaming Agreements.
  • Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
  • Reviews all new contracts and modifications to Identify risks and issues and suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution
  • Reviews and manages contractual compliance of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met
  • Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
  • Responsible for timely creation and submission of draft and final contractual documentation required for all proposals. Attends proposal kick-off and review meetings and reviews draft and final proposals to ensure accuracy and timely submission
  • Responsible for documentation and implementation of Contract Management processes
  • Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance
  • Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes required for the contract
  • Achieves a reasonable level of understanding of the organization's major core competencies in order to communicate effectively with project Senior Executives and provide relevant advice
  • Provide training to project and infrastructure personnel Actively manages Company's GWAC and IDIQ contracts and suggests and executes modifications as necessary.


Qualifications

  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team of operations and infrastructure professionals supporting proposal preparation and a portfolio of contracts
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work activities in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
  • Must be able to create document workflows and set up process automations congruent with other business units.
  • Requires a BA degree and 6 + years of prior relevant experience
  • Two years additional Contract Administration experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with Government (FAR / DFAR) contracting: Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and General Service Administration (GSA) type contracts
  • Must have the ability to make sound business judgments and handle multiple contractual activities with a short turn-around time
  • The Candidate must be proficient with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, and Outlook
  • The Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills to include well developed analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to identify and mitigate contract risks as well as coordinate appropriate reviews in accordance with company policy and procedures
