- Physical- capable of lifting 60 lbs. safely or with assistance. Performing manual labor for long periods with or without reasonable accommodation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Timely completion of job functions. Produce customer parts and products in accordance with the established safety, quality, and cost standards of the Company. Authority to drive company forklift if trained. Responsible for producing quality workmanship, which meets or exceeds requirements.
- Weld parts in conformance with specifications, including quality system procedures, and meet daily required production assignments with assistance.
- Work independently with assistance as needed.
- Arrive at work punctually and be willing to work overtime when needed.
- Understand the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
- Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction by working with the department supervisor and the lead.
- Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
- Communicate accurately and effectively with other individuals in the department and other departments.
- Accurately maintain the MES system as instructed.
- Maintain a neat and clean work area.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must pass 20-gauge MIG welding test within 1 week under supervision of a level 2 or higher welder.
- Ability to safely set up and operate MIG machine with help for mild steel and don proper PPE when required.
- Possess basic math skills, including reading and using a tape measure and calipers.
- Understanding basic welding hazards, including UV light, high temperatures, and fire prevention.
- Must be able to MIG weld flat lap welds and horizontal fillet welds
- Must have a basic understanding of print reading. (Find tolerances and see dimensions)
- Ability to learn about basic cutting and grinding tools common in welding.
Education and Experience
- Ability to learn how to safely GMAW (MIG) weld 20ga material.
