The Ideal Candidate The District Manager is responsible for supervising retail store locations in their assigned territory, while developing strong teams that will contribute to the company's success and growth. How You Will Make an Impact Achieves sales goals and profitability targets in all stores Evaluate people / performance and determine action plans to improve sales and measure results. Staffing stores within allotted payroll budget Manages loss prevention efforts in district Recruits and hires store management candidates Trains and coaches store employees Conducts store visits regularly Directs store operations and implements company policies and procedures Communicate regularly with Regional Vice President and corporate office staff Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have Preferably three to five years of field management experience Valid state motor vehicle operator's license. Willingness to travel extensively in assigned territory. Experience in the footwear industry preferred Proven ability to increase sales and profitability Proven ability to recruit, train and develop high-caliber teams Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fluid environment Strong verbal communication skills Stand for long periods of time Apply
