JOB DESCRIPTION: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or equivalent * 5 years' maintenance experience * 3 years' experience in a health care facility * Demonstrated knowledge of JACHO requirements and licensure requirements for a behavioral health organization. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration or a related field. * Experience managing departmental budgets.

Knowledge of publicly funded mental health and chemical dependency service systems, funding, environmental and dietary regulations. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance environmental and dietary requirements. Ability to manage effectively in an organization with a participatory management style and philosophy. Ability to mentor subordinates to increase their knowledge, skills and abilities.
Essential Functions/Job Duties: * Provides direction, management, and supervision for the Maintenance, Housekeeping, Dietary, and Transportation departments. * Hires and trains staff and assigns duties. * Ensures assigned staff work in accordance with Centerstone policies and procedures. * Oversees operation of all buildings owned or leased by Centerstone of Florida. * Responds to all complaints or issues in a fast and efficient manner. * Monitors and supervises overall corporate safety program, serves as corporate Safety Officer, and chairs Safety Committee meetings. * Ensures that required safety drills are conducted in a timely and thorough manner. * Monitors to ensure Joint Commission and AHCA requirements related to environmental, life safety, and dietary services are met. * Develops, revises, and coordinates implementation of preventative maintenance plan for Facilities. Coordinates development of program activities with other corporate and community programs. * Coordinates and develops maintenance of budgets for Maintenance, Housekeeping, Dietary, and Transportation departments. * Tracks approved expenditures and maintains documentation according to Centerstone policies and procedures. * Provides input into policies related to assigned areas of responsibilities and coordinates revision of policies as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position provides direct supervision to the Dietary Manager, Dietician, Maintenance Supervisor, Supervisor of Housekeeping, Transportation Coordinator, Custodian, Floor Technician, Housekeepers, Program Assistant, PRN Van Driver and PRN Courier. This position's responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, and training subordinates; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Work Environment/Physical Demands: Operates in an office environment and spends approximately 50% of work time in inpatient and outpatient behavioral health and addiction treatment settings. This position may be subject to exposure to contagious diseases. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to observe office, inpatient and outpatient treatment environments and to use speech and hearing to interact with others in person, via telephone, using computer technology and in writing. This position requires the ability to see, hear, smell, twist, bend and climb ladders to assess environmental conditions. This position requires the physical ability to wear personal protective equipment required for maintenance and housekeeping tasks. Reasonable accommodations will be made as needed. Position Type, Expected Hours of Work and Travel: This is a full time, exempt position. Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday days. Evening and weekend work may be required. This position has on call responsibilities. Some local travel may be required. Pay Range: $58,700.00--$82,300.00
