The Senior Director, Work Redesign will lead the strategic redesign of jobs and organizational structures at Salesforce. This role will focus on driving large-scale transformation across the organization, with an initial emphasis on Employee Success. You will oversee job augmentation and cross-functional work redesign efforts, collaborating closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with long-term organizational goals, drive efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the strategic redesign of roles and organizational structures to meet evolving business needs.

  • Oversee job augmentation and work redesign efforts across the organization, ensuring alignment with future business goals and objectives.

  • Work closely with senior leadership to define key roles, responsibilities, and work processes for the future of work.

  • Foster collaboration across departments to reimagine job design and organizational structures that maximize efficiency and drive innovation.

  • Lead efforts to integrate new technologies and AI-driven tools into job redesign processes.

  • Drive enterprise-wide transformation by promoting a culture of continuous improvement and agility in work design.

  • Develop and implement frameworks for job redesign and augmentation that support scalability and growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and preferably Master's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in organizational design, work redesign, or talent management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience leading large-scale organizational transformation initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of workforce trends, job augmentation, and AI integration into work redesign.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.

  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
