EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required

4 years related experience or Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience - Project management and computer skills preferred.
JOB DUTIES
- Assists program lead with analyzing, coordinating, and evaluating program operation procedures to include program goals and objectives; schedules, and budget. Researches trends and recommends strategies to promote continued change, growth or expansion of the event or program/service.
- Works collaboratively with program lead to provide reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, financial information is reliable. Monitors expenditures and makes decisions on allocation of funds throughout the event or program/service.
- Acts as a liaison for the event or program/service by answering inquiries, providing information, and addressing concerns. In addition, develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from program.
- Coordinates organizational details for educational programs and special events, such as seminars, teaching conferences, lecture series, orientation, and recruitment events, which may include preparing calendars, schedules, or promotional announcements for distribution, making travel arrangements for speakers, making arrangements for banquets/meals for large groups, coordinating registration/membership materials, etc.
- Designs promotional materials for the event or program/service or contracts with internal or external partners to develop such communications.
- Provides administrative support for one or more of aforementioned programs as applicable. Provides relief for a variety of administrative duties, which involve thorough understanding of program(s) involved.Responsible for design,
- Identifies, researches, and selects the facilities necessary for the event or program/service. Schedules facilities as appropriate.
- Ensures the event or program/service is executed on or under budget. Monitors expenditures and makes decisions on allocation of funds throughout the event or program/service.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
