Skilled Technician Needed - Vacuum Pump and Compressor Assembly

What You'll Do:

Working with guidance, perform a variety of complex precision assembly and testing tasks to assemble both standard and custom vacuum pumps/compressors. Responsibilities include component and top-end assembly, inspection, leak checks, and functional testing at various stages of the assembly process.

• Maintain necessary Operator Authorization(s) and work from detailed drawings and instructions.
• Assemble parts and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools, ensuring precision and alignment; perform functional tests and setup specialized systems for testing.
• Ensure quality and productivity by making machine/tool adjustments and troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Inspect parts for accuracy using measuring tools and visual checks, and send parts for further inspection when required.
• Package compressors securely using custom containers and crates for safe transit.
• Generate required documentation through Oracle, MS Word, and Excel.
• Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor and maintain quality standards.
• Prep and paint compressors as needed.
• Assist and train team members as required.
• Utilize basic computer systems for labor transactions and other tasks.

What You Bring:

• Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions, and other required functions
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 1- 3 years technical experience
