Inova Center for Personalized Health is looking for an IT Enterprise Desktop Administrator to join the Team. This role will be full-time day-shift from Monday - Friday. The IT Enterprise Desktop Administrator is responsible for imaging and configuration, per defined standard operating procedures, of systems hardware/software related infrastructure. Completes tasks focused on imaging and the configuration of Windows desktop systems and all associated peripherals such as printers, scanners and e-signature pads. Assists in ensuring the successful and cooperative completion of tasks while resolving basic problems in a timely manner. IT Enterprise Desktop Administrator Job Responsibilities:
- Performs configuration of all peripherals to ensure working systems enable customers to be productive in their roles.
- Provides input, consistent with policies and procedures, to other Information Technology staff to define and manage warranty standard operating procedures (SOP) and repairs.
- Communicates problem solving measures taken for inclusion into SOP and policies so that recurring problems can be resolved.
- Proactively identifies and implements successful preventive measures for basic issues affecting desktops, printers and WOWs.
- Works from pre-defined SOP and checklists to ensure operating systems and systems software components are properly installed/configured for the enterprise desktop environment.
- Communicates proper procedures for system requests/maintenance, current task/project priorities and alternatives to requests for services that do not meet standards.
- Responds to and works tasks related to basic configuration problems of desktop infrastructure. Performs warranty repairs/warranty assessments and fixes.
- Ensures basic updates of documentation of procedures/standards on the proper imaging and configuring of operating systems software are complete and accurate.
IT Enterprise Desktop Administrator Additional Requirements:
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; Day-Shift
- Education: Associate degree; or HS Diploma/GED and 2 years of relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required
- Experience: 1 year experience in supporting a desktop environment with both basic administration and problem-resolution of Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 and above issues.
IT Enterprise Desktop Administrator Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Desktop Administrator in a healthcare environment preferred.
