Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineer Tableau in Seattle, WA: Job Duties: Design and develop server-side software for a Java-Spring-AWS-based platform / suite of services. Optionally, design and develop a UI layer utilizing various React/JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. Participate in design and code reviews, break down and estimate work, and select and incorporate the appropriate tools for the job. Uphold a high standard of engineering excellence in source code, testing, and operations. Proactively anticipate risks and take steps to mitigate them. Learn and ramp up quickly on the architectural knowledge and tools needed to do the job. Build and deploy software to multiple operating systems and environments ranging from Windows on-prem server clusters to cloud-native Linux AWS infrastructure. Balance a mix of new feature work with maintaining and improving the existing codebase and tests. ^Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or one (1) year of experience in the job offered. A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Computer Engineering). Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java (one year); (2) Kafka; (3) CSS; (4) Python; (5) Spring boot; (6) HTML; (7) Git; (8) AWS; (9) Node JS; (10) JavaScript (one year); (11) SQL; (12) React; (13) TypeScript. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Salary: $128,502.00 - $172,800.00 per annum.
