This role oversees the day to day activities of his/her assigned team for the purpose of delivering exceptional client support while meeting budget and compliance constraints. The incumbent manages the timely and complete processing of incoming channels of client communications and referrals, required client reporting, and other duties in order optimize the facilitation of the recovery of claim payments from first and third party sources. In addition to managing the account specialists, this position also assists management in implementing new processes, documentation of change control, process documentation, and other administrative tasks needed to execute strategic planning and forward thinking to move the organization to the next level.
The salary range for this position is $62K- $70K Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity. JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Leads and performs the daily activities of the assigned functional team members; triage of client communications, case set up, and responding to client questions. Prioritizes work of self and others and makes case assignments when needed
2. Develops, monitors and communicates team goals. Conducts team meetings and participates in ad hoc meetings 3. Develops and implements effective ways to manage communication channels to ensure that all is worked timely and accurately. Manages operational workflows and meets internal and external Service Level Agreements (SLA). Identifies, recommends and develops process improvements 4. Provides reports and updates to management as scheduled or requested 5. Ensures all processes meet HIPAA and all client security requirements with regards to sharing/storage/PHI 6. Compiles, analyzes and makes conclusions from multiple sources to make effective decisions on client, team and business needs 7. Interacts professionally with attorneys, insurance adjusters, medical providers, court staff, recipients and family members and client 8. Coaches employees and provides encouragement to promote success. Serves as an escalation point when needed. 9. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department. 10. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments. 11. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. 12. JOB SCOPE:
This role works under minimal supervision in the execution of the role's day-to-day responsibilities. The incumbent's decisions within the role will have the potential to have both a departmental and organizationally spanning influence. The incumbent may have regular interactions with employees and leaders in own department, decision makers for clients, clients, and other functions within the company. This is a people management job with authority for all HR actions (hiring, firing, discipline, training, etc.)
