Requisition ID req33325 Working Title Admin Assistant 2 Position Grade 07 Position Summary The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. CDD Administration is seeking an experienced individual for our Administrative Assistant 2 to support divisional operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in administrative support, including scheduling meetings and travel, interacting professionally with the public, and demonstrating exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access is highly desirable as well as experience with P-Card, Chrome River, and LoboMart. Primary duties of this role include:

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team and provide support to a large Center managing multiple requests and complex issues. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a positive, proactive attitude. Experience handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Familiarity with diverse communities, including individuals with developmental disabilities and families in need. Additional Requirements The ability to lift an average of 25 pounds as part of the package in-take process. Maintain an active New Mexico driver's license.
