As a Supply Chain Associate at IDEXX, you will be shipping products to customers and regional distribution centers across the globe. Your focus will be on ensuring accuracy of inventory movements while maintaining a clean and safe warehouse and environment. In this role you will be part of a team that works with high-quality animal diagnostics devices used by veterinarians worldwide.

You will work in a welcoming and organized space with a steady schedule and supporting team!

Schedule: This is a first shift role with a regular weekly schedule of 6am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday.

In this role, you may be responsible for any, or all of the following:

  • Picking products for domestic customers and distribution centers, including preparing products and documentation while ensuring accuracy of documentation of shipment.

  • Pick and packing materials from cold storage areas, as well as ambient temperature areas.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues as requested.

  • Ensuring orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials where needed, and staging finished products.

  • Supporting inventory processes, solutions, and strategies for the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and order fulfillment quality; includes cycle counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, documenting, and reporting. You will use an RF scanner and/or WMS technology.

  • Moving and storing equipment, and inventory for internal and external customers.

  • Collaborating with business partners to support continuous improvement of materials management.

  • Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.

  • Operating of Power Industrial Equipment (forklift, reach truck, order picker, etc.)

What you will need to succeed:

  • You are willing to learn about IDEXX and the industry. If you have any similar experience, that is already great!

  • Forklift experience is a plus.

  • You possess a High School (or an equivalent) diploma or already have some experience in a similar role.

  • You can work with limited or no supervision, as well as both independently and as a part of a collaborative team.

  • If needed, you will get certified to work with hazardous material.

  • You have an eye for detail and have great organizational skills.

  • Your interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills instill trust.

In this role you may be sometimes asked to perform physical activities such as standing for 2hr+, periods of sitting, phone and computer use, extended reach, occasionally lifting up to 70lb and kneeling or bending. You may require specific vision ability - close, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
