Description

This position is responsible for the overall management of processes and employees representing Wurth onsite at a customer location primarily in Decatur, IL and other multiple sites within ADM. The ADM Program Manager will be expected to manage the daily operational needs of the sites and will also manage onsite Inventory Management Representatives and manage materials data maintenance. Reporting, sourcing, quoting, deliveries both inbound and outbound will be expected daily responsibilities. The program manager will need to be familiar and possess the ability to navigate a wide variety of systems such as, but not limited to: SCALE, SAP, EXCEL, CRIBMASTER, COUPA

Expectations of the Program Manager:



  • Manages, prioritizes and directs the day to day at a customer site.
  • Oversees the work of the onsite Inventory Management Representatives.
  • Motivates all associates encouraging optimum productivity.
  • Manages materials data maintenance.
  • As a customer facing sales representative maintains constant focus on the customer and directs all activities towards providing the highest level of customer service to create an optimum customer experience in every situation.
  • Processes customer quote requests.
  • Places purchase orders and expedites for spot buys.
  • Performs order entry of consignment replenishment and discrete orders.
  • Suggests changes in work processes to increase overall efficiencies.
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and presents information concerning developments and trends in the industry, changes in business situations, statistical trends and proposes process changes if appropriate.
  • Manages daily expectations of the customer.
  • Works with management at each plant to identify additional opportunities at the customer site.
  • Ability to work on site at customer locations as needed/required
  • Ability to cover IMR coverage gaps as needed/ required



Skills and Experience we like to see:



  • Prior Management experience with having worked in a similar role is required.
  • Leadership capability to successfully manage at the customer's location with strong coaching and delegating skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written form.
  • Strong administrative, planning and organizing skills.
  • Highly proficient computer skills.
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.


Salary: $120k-$140k annually

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
