A Brief Overview
Under general supervision, resolves more complex patient accounts.

CHOP location and schedule - Cira Centre - 2929 Arch Street - Monday - Friday - 8:00 to 4:30 or 8:30 to 5:00. Hybrid after six months (external) 3 months (internal). One day in office after required orientation period.

What you will do

• Insurance Claims Follow Up - reviews more complex system work queues, insurance contracts, and other reports to identify third-party (insurance) accounts receivable balances and collect expected amounts due.
• Meets production and quality requirements
• Provides excellent customer service
• Completes annual mandatory educational requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED - Required

Experience Qualifications

• At least three (3) years experience in Healthcare Collections - Required
• At least four (4) years in Healthcare Collections - Preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent attention to detail, organized and computer skills, professionalism.
• Good working knowledge of third party insurance and public assistance programs.
