Shift: ALL Security Clearance:No Clearance ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PURPOSE (Job Description) The Rigger 1st Class is responsible for accomplishing work in accordance with work specifications safely, with the highest quality, in a professional manner. Assist other trades in removing equipment and /or structural components by the use of lifting equipment such as chain falls, cranes, shackles and slings. NASSCO Riggers must be able to meet the requirements of an Outside Machinist. POSITION DEMANDS (Education/Training/Experience)

Vision Requirements: The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operating machines where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach or performing mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature such as ones by electricians, technicians, service people, painters, mechanics, etc. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS This position reports to shop supervisor. This position develops and maintains a positive working relationship with other Welders and supports a team approach in the pursuit of common company goals. . Must be able to access all work locations, including government and private shipyards and/or vessels. Pay Range: $27.23 - $35.75 Hourly The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity. At NASSCO Bremerton we anticipate making salary offers between the minimum and midpoint of salary range. Offers will be based on experience, abilities, and knowledge similar to the NASSCO Job being applied for NASSCO employees performing similar work.
