This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to be impactful in the success of an organization providing support to the defense industry. In this position you will be an essential part of the team and responsible forall aspects of contract negotiation, management, and administration of complex US Government contracts. This position is located at our office in King George, VA. Responsibilities: 
 
     
 Manage personnel assigned to the Contracts Department along with all Contracts functions Provide cradle-to-grave administration of complex government contractsDevelop and coordinate all activities for price and cost proposals including final proposal submissionPrepare, negotiate, award and manage contracts, subcontracts, and agreements issued by SCCIProvide timely and responsive generation and negotiation of supporting contractual documentssuch as nondisclosure agreements, software evaluation, and license agreementsReview, summarize, and brief senior/executive level management on contract terms and conditionsRegularly exercise independent judgment and discretion in solving complex contract and business issues Establish and maintain an appropriate contract reporting systemComply with security requirements
 
Essential Skills and Experience: 
 
     
 Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security ClearanceBachelor's degree; Or fifteen (15)+ years of directly related experienceTen (10)+years of experience administering US Government contracts, including GSA Schedules and all contract types: firm fixed price, cost plus fixed fee, cost plus incentive fee, cost plus award fee, and time and material contractsExperience with contract negotiation, pricing and cost proposal development, negotiation of nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements and subcontractsKnowledge of US Government procurement regulations, including FAR, DFARS and agency specific supplementsExperience working with and briefing senior management on contract issuesStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to make informed decisions, manage and prioritize workload, and meet deadlinesMicrosoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
 
 
 Preferred Skills and Experience: 
 
     
 Secret Security Clearance or higherExperience working with SeaPort-e, SeaPort NexGen, and GSA OASIS is strongly desired
