Salary: Up to $70,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide expert technical support and information on health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate, track, and conduct required employee training sessions.
  • Collaborate with management to monitor compliance and identify health and safety risks.
  • Participate in new product and process reviews, offering insights into health and safety considerations.
  • Maintain the company's Health and Safety documentation, including shared drives, records, and reference manuals.
  • Promote safety awareness through internal memoranda, newsletters, and training programs.
  • Participate in the company Safety Committee, review meeting minutes, inspection reports, and ensure follow-ups are completed.
  • Understand and monitor federal and state health and safety regulations, staying informed of regulatory changes.
  • Audit practices and records to ensure compliance with company programs and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor lost-time injuries/illnesses and workers' compensation claims; review incident investigation reports and ensure corrective/preventive actions are completed.
  • Direct accident investigation programs, analyze trends, and develop programs for performance improvement.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA guidelines and practices.
  • Proven experience in implementing OSHA training programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and advisory skills.
  • Experience conducting both individual and group training sessions.
  • Previous work experience in a safety leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices to protect worker health and safety.



Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to work near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals.
  • Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and activities such as climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
  • Extended periods of computer use and standing during training sessions.
