Sr. Mechatronics Technician

Location:
Beverly, MA

Position Type: Direct-Hire

Pay: $80,000 to $90,000

We're looking for a skilled Senior Mechatronics Technician to lead troubleshooting, testing, and repair of actuators. This hands-on role supports internal teams and customers by resolving technical issues and driving product reliability in the field.

Required Skills & Experience

* Strong experience with servo drives, encoders, electric motors

* Hands-on skills: soldering (IPC-610), crimping, wiring, diagnostics

* Proficient with oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies

* Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics

* Python programming and data acquisition experience required

* Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

* Familiar with ERP systems, Microsoft Office

* Clear communication and documentation skills



Key Responsibilities

* Diagnose, repair, and reassemble complex electromechanical components

* Perform electro-mechanical testing and root-cause analysis

* Interpret field data to identify trends and recommend improvements

* Configure hardware/software and assist with field installations/upgrades

* Document service and repair activities clearly

* Communicate findings with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Assembly teams

* Maintain tools, lab equipment, and parts inventory
