Summary

The production planner is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the finite production schedule. The finite production schedule drives the manufacturing process (which SKUs are produced when & in what quantities). The main goal of this role is to build a schedule that maximizes operational efficiency while maintaining the highest customer service levels possible.

Responsibilities
  • Owner of the creation and maintenance of finite production schedule
  • Ensure plant attainment KPIs are adhered to and deep dive any root causes for issues
  • Schedule SKUs/lines efficiently to ensure validation time is maximized to drive manufacturing KPIs and increase OEE, while also protecting Customer Service %
  • Partner with Materials Planning and Operations teams to ensure we are issuing a feasible and attainable production schedule, with an emphasis on being clear-to-build
  • Work with supply planning to ensure that high priorities are scheduled as such
  • Assist in the maintenance of planning master data to ensure CPH and other metrics are driving accurate timelines for the production schedule
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field of study a plus but not mandatory.
  • 1-3 years of CPG industry/supply chain experience with a good understanding of the end-to-end processes.
  • Advanced skillset with Microsoft Office and experience within SAP (or similar program)
  • Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and comfortable taking initiative, as well as capable of producing high quality results on a sustainable basis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication & influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage large projects, process improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Need for a professional demeanor, in addition to strong written and oral communication skills.

Compensation Range:$58,000.00-$87,000.00, plus bonus.
