Description Acara Solutions has been providing aerospace/defense and advanced manufacturing firms with our staffing services nationally for over 65 years. Our Mountain View, CA (San Jose) aerospace client is looking for a Process Engineering Manager to join their organization as a salaried direct employee. The salary target is $175K plus bonus, with some flexibility.
This is mainly an onsite position.
Power amplifier process experience is a must.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Citizen government security clearance.
This role is responsible for optimizing and improving the efficiency of each of the manufacturing processes. Identifying and implementing continuous improvement, the improvement shall include and not be limited to Yield, Throughput, Productivity, Price of nonconformities and Cost of sales. Ensure the smooth functioning of the production lines, develop new techniques, and modify existing processes.
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: BSEE (a PHD in Mechanical, Electrical a plus) Min 5 years of managerial experience leading process engineering teams. Min 3 years of experience with
power amplifiers. Min 2 years of RF experience. General knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP Software. Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required. Knowledge of ISO9k and/or AS9100. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen. Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP... Demonstrated leadership skills and capabilities. Black belt Lean/ 6 sigma certification. 5S implementations. Leading Gemba and Kaizen events. Min 1 year of xperience with CAD software/ AUTO CAD. Min 5 years of SPC/CPK/DOE experience. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Citizen government security clearance.
