Description

Medica's Marketing Operations Specialist III is responsible for managing inventory, audience lists, and pre-production processes for direct-to-consumer member communications across all brands. This role serves as a key liaison between the Marketing and Experience team and cross-functional partners, ensuring the successful execution of member communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Consumer Communication Strategies



  • Contribute to meetings by offering cost-effective solutions aligned with communication goals
  • Provide regular status updates in cross-functional meetings
  • Create and manage project schedules using project management tools
  • Maintain a master production schedule to optimize resources and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data, timeline, or production issues
  • Manage campaign templates in the customer communication management system


Production Management & Budget Oversight



  • Pre-flight art files to ensure USPS compliance before printing
  • Develop mailing instructions that align with strategic goals
  • Review and approve print and data proofs from vendors
  • Request print quotes and secure budget approvals from business owners
  • Maintain financial documentation for assigned projects


Data Management



  • Write detailed data order instructions based on strategy briefs
  • Partner with analytics teams to structure data per project needs
  • Review and clean mailing lists for production accuracy
  • Support implementation and maintenance of Customer Communication Management (CCM) software


Forecasting & Inventory Management



  • Coordinate with print buyers to ensure material availability
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast print material needs
  • Monitor inventory reports and manage reorder thresholds


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 5 years of work experience beyond degree


Preferred Skills & Tools:



  • CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Business intelligence tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Power BI)
  • Web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration
  • Data-driven decision-making
  • Knowledge of print production, data processing, lettershop operations, and postal regulations
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Alteryx, and online project management platforms



This position is a hub-based role which requires onsite presence. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership and may be up to 2-3 days a week. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must reside within a commuting distance to our Minnetonka, MN office.

The full salary range for this position is $61,500-$105,400. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
