Description
BlueHalo, an AV Company has an immediate opening for a MS&A Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the High-Performance Electromagnetic Spectrum Survivable Materials Advancement (HELMSSMAN) contract. This position will be located at the Air Force Research Laboratory, Materials and Manufacturing Directorate's Photonic Materials Branch, at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH. The program involves developing aircrew, sensor and structures protection to mitigate EMS battlefield hazards to ensure effective performance in contested environments. Technology development encompasses materials development and advanced filtering technologies across multiple wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum. The ideal candidate will be able to design and implement the processes and procedures for a framework for closed-loop modeling and simulation of direct energy (DE) weapons, DE countermeasures, and their impact on mission success and survivability. M&S environments will include establishing Red Threat Patterns of Life (PoL), parametrization of surrogate Red DE Threats, behaviors, and effects as well as parametrization of threat countermeasures.
