DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will engage in a thorough 12-month training program that includes a range of entry-level tasks aimed at enhancing your technical skills and expertise in specific areas of engineering technology, such as surveying, drafting and design, construction and materials inspection, as well as traffic control and planning. You will utilize surveying principles to gather and report data essential for the design and construction of highways and bridges. Additionally, you will support the setup, operation, adjustment, and maintenance of various surveying instruments, while also establishing centerlines, measuring angles, and verifying the alignment of structures. Your responsibilities will include staking out tangents, curve stations, and reference control points. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- An associate degree in surveying, drafting, designing, civil, or any other appropriate field of engineering technology.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position requires possession of a valid Class C Driver's License.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
