JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* This position will lead the APQP process for NPI products, ensuring quality related to new product introduction (NPI) processes and activities, by collaborating with all areas of the business to ensure a smooth process transition in line with business requirements.
* Defines and implements control plans and FMEA per customer requirements;
* Collects, analyzes and prepares statistical data per control plan.
* Effectively project manage quality NPI requirements.
* Develops and implements quality control procedures and standards for NPI projects (inspection, testing and evaluation).
* Engage with customers and suppliers on quality related matters ensuring customer focus and relationship building.
* Ability to understand and articulate customer and 3rd party specifications to conduct and complete First Articles when required.
* Assist in developing customer engineering drawings and documentation to determine material, process, and quality requirements.
* Develop and refine manufacturing processes from concept through first article production, ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Involved in procedures that ensure that critical and complex aerospace components meet all customer specifications and blueprint requirements.
* Create, update, and maintain operation sequence sheets to support both new orders and process improvement initiatives.
* Support responses to Requests for Quotations (RFQs) by providing technical insight and feasibility analysis.
* Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive operational success and meet customer expectations.
* Stay informed on emerging manufacturing technologies, process advancements, and methodologies to enhance production efficiency.
* Utilize Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools to augment and enhance NPI processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor"s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering; related field, or equivalent experience.
* 10+ years of quality engineering experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment, supporting NPI.
* Experience with inspection, testing, validation, and certification processes.
* Strong understanding quality assurance methodologies.
* APQP experience.
* Experience in new process control development and product start-ups.
* Project management experience. Proven problem-solving skills using sound fundamentals.
* Ability to effectively work/communicate as part of a project team.
* Excellent time management skills ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Experience of working to deadlines and achieving targets.
* High organization and planning skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Superb written and communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret aerospace specifications, procedures, and standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
