Responsibilities

As a Therapist at Newport Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the therapeutic journey of our adolescent clients. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential duties that are crucial for fostering healing and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the Voice of Support: Serve as a proactive clinical point of contact for families, ensuring open lines of communication and providing the guidance they need during their journey.
  • Facilitate Transformative Therapies: Lead individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions, utilizing Newport Healthcare's clinical model and the principles of Attachment-Based Family Therapy to create a nurturing environment for change.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with the client's treatment team to coordinate treatment goals and services, conducting 30-day treatment plan reviews and updates to ensure ongoing alignment and progress.

Qualifications

Education:

Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required.

Licensed Social Worker in MN or ability to work towards licensure in Marriage Family Therapy (LMFT), Clinical Counseling (LPCC), or Clinical Psychologist (LP) in MN

Experience:

Experience with individual, family, and/or group therapy with young adults/adolescents

Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment preferred.

Pay range for this position is $68,688 to $101,450 depending on education, licensure and experience.
