POSITION SUMMARY:

The Document Control Technician will primarily be responsible for document control within the Precision Fluidics organization. This role will also serve as Engineering support for various processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage documentation requests by initiating, creating, editing, and finalizing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Documentation Change Orders (DCOs)
  • Manage Autodesk Vault components and assemblies
  • Print controlled copies of documentation
  • Support audits as necessary
  • Create, edit, and review technical documentation such as specification sheets, technical reports, test protocols, etc.
  • Manage customer notification process
  • Manage component introduction process from Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of document control experience

or

  • Associate's degree with 2+ years of document control experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Project management skills (no certifications required)
  • Experience with document control systems
  • Basic knowledge of CAD or CAD management (ePDM) (Autodesk/Inventor preferred)
  • Desired but not required: CAD experience creating and managing complex assemblies
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with different areas of the business
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
