Job Description

As the Inside Sales | SDR Manager at DDN, you will lead, coach, and scale our global team of Sales Development Representatives (BDRs) focused on driving pipeline generation and accelerating large-scale AI deals. Initially managing a team of 3 BDRs in the Americas, your role is critical in expanding and developing the team to a global presence of 8, including EMEA and APJ regions, within FY25. You will oversee both inbound lead follow-up and proactive prospecting, leveraging SalesLoft sequences and playbooks to maximize effectiveness, productivity, and ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

    Hire, lead, train, and inspire a high-performing global SDR team to achieve and surpass their individual and team goals.
  • Develop, implement, and refine SalesLoft sequences to effectively manage inbound leads from events, digital campaigns, and proactive prospecting initiatives.
  • Create and optimize prospecting playbooks, ensuring consistent, effective outreach aligned with DDN's ideal customer profiles.
  • Actively participate in SDR calls to provide real-time coaching, training, and constructive feedback.
  • Analyze key metrics such as calls, connects, sequence performance, and overall SDR productivity to drive continuous improvement and optimize ROI.
  • Prepare and present weekly BDR dashboards and reporting, detailing metrics such as meetings scheduled, meetings held, and opportunities created.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales operations, and field sales teams to ensure strategic alignment on campaigns, messaging, and lead handoffs.
  • Foster a culture focused on accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience managing and developing an inside sales or SDR team, ideally in the technology or AI sector.
  • Hands-on experience with SalesLoft or similar sales engagement platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to improve team performance.
  • Exceptional coaching, training, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to collaborate effectively across global teams.
