What We're Seeking

The Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining a variety of software applications. This includes troubleshooting, analyzing system issues, implementing solutions, and working with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

Technical Proficiency and Problem-Solving



  • Troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues.
  • Implement system updates and new features.
  • Maintain proficiency in programming languages and software applications.



Analytical and Detail-Oriented Approach



  • Analyze system requirements and business processes.
  • Document system problems, resolutions, and user manuals with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough testing of systems to ensure quality and efficiency.



Effective Communication and Customer Service



  • Liaise with users to understand their needs and provide appropriate technical support.
  • Translate technical terms into understandable language for non-technical users.
  • Focus on enhancing user satisfaction and addressing user concerns.



Business Acumen and Strategic Alignment



  • Align IT systems with business goals and strategies.
  • Understand and incorporate business processes into system designs.
  • Ensure systems support and enhance business operations.



Project Management and Collaboration



  • Collaborate with IT professionals and business stakeholders on system development projects.
  • Apply project management principles to lead or contribute to projects.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, fostering a collaborative environment.



Adaptability and Continuous Learning



  • Adapt to new technologies and changes in the IT landscape.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and regulatory standards in IT.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development.



Project Delivery



  • Asses the feasibility of the proposed project in terms of technical, operational, and financial viability.
  • Based on the requirements, design the system architecture including hardware, software, and network specifications.
  • Create models or prototypes to give stakeholders a preview of the system and gather feedback.
  • Created detailed system specifications that will guide developers during the coding phase.
  • Provide technical guidance to understand the system specifications and requirements.



Post-Deployment and Support



  • Continuously monitoring the system's performance and gathering feedback from users.
  • Ensure the system remains up-to-date and functional, addressing any post-deployment issues or enhancements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the system for future reference and compliance.



Performance Goals



  • Minimize application downtime and improve system efficiency.
  • Enhance user satisfaction and align IT systems with business objectives.
  • Successfully manage and complete IT projects on schedule.



What You'll Need (Qualifications)

Required



  • 5+ years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software applications and IT systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • General knowledge of ERP systems, with competency in one of the following core business areas: Operations and MFG, Accounting, Distribution, Planning, Warehouse, Transportation, Orchestrations and EDI.
  • Experience in RF Scanning Systems, Barcode Label Printing Solutions, Warehouse Management, Transportation, and Reporting Systems
  • Experience utilizing OMW and Web OMW to manage projects and objects.
  • Experience writing SQL code and developing reports is required.
  • Experience in DB2 and MS SQL Server database is required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Preferred



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2 in configuration, delivering solutions and supporting the environment specifically in the operations, manufacturing, costing, demand planning, production scheduling, inventory, warehouse management, transportation, orchestrations, and distribution modules.
  • 5+ years' experience in configuration, delivering solutions and supporting RF Smart and Nice Label.
  • 2+ years' experience in Insight, Microsoft Power B.I., Board CPM, WMS and TMS systems.
  • 2+ years' experience supporting EDI & SFTP with 3rd party vendor integration.
  • Experience working within AS400 / iSeries Environment.



Physical Demands/Work Environment



  • Primarily hybrid office working environment.
  • May require occasional travel for professional development, vendor meetings and company meetings.
