What You Will Do

As our Senior General Ledger Accountant, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our core accounting systems. This isn't just about processing data; it's about being a key player in delivering insightful financial reporting, driving efficiency through meticulous journal entries and reconciliations, and safeguarding our financial controls through vital SOX processes.   • Responsible for general ledger close activities within the ERP accounting system

  • Assist with close responsibilities (i.e. perform journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet flux analysis, detailed

  • account analysis).

  • Intercompany Reconciliations.

  • Ensure compliance with key SOX controls.

  • Assists/Supports annual audit and quarterly audit schedules preparation.

  • Prepares monthly financial and management reporting packages.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

  • 5+ years of accounting experience

  • Excellent knowledge of GAAP

  • Oracle and Netsuite ERP experience

  • Active CPA

  • Prior supervisory experience is a plus

About Trimble's Corporate Accounting Department

The Accounting Department at Trimble is responsible for managing the financial records and reporting for the entire organization. This includes a wide range of activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and provide insights into the company's financial performance.

In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time working in the office based on the position and the business need. Typically hybrid positions are 1-3 days per week, or 20%-60% of the month in the office.
