WINDOWS SERVER ADMINISTRATOR

General Purpose of Job:

Assists in the day to day operations of the Windows Server environment and ensures the servers are kept in a stable and secure state. Responds in timely manner to end user requests and assists on projects as needed. Create and maintain documentation on windows server standards and operational tasks.

• All duties as described in the Windows Server Administrator Associate Job Description.
• Maintain support documentation on IT Enterprise applications.
• Test and update Windows server applications as needed.
• Determine acceptable benchmarks for proficient server operations.
• Develop, configure, and test new server builds.
• Builds, tests, monitors, and configures patch deployments using various automated tools for both physical and virtual environments.
• Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
• Contribute to and approaches maintain system standards.
