About The Position The Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and providing project coordination for the electrical distribution system for company's dense urban underground distribution system within a geographic service area with emphasis on safety, reliability, cost effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university required, with a strong preference for electrical Engineering. Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) and/or Professional Engineer (P.E.) License strongly preferred. Underground distribution related engineering experience preferred. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: The Engineer (Underground) works in an office and field environment. Must have good decision-making, communication, organizational, and human relations skills and be able to interact effectively with various stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required. Working knowledge of corporate computer applications such as Ameren's work management system, CSS, circuit analysis programs, etc. preferred. Must possess, and have the ability to operate, a motor vehicle. Subject to 24-hour emergency call. Additional Information Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $69,300.00 - $168,000.00* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials. At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
