Position Summary:

This position is responsible for reviewing candidates in our applicant tracking system (ATS), interviewing, conducting new hire orientation and onboarding hourly new hires for our manufacturing plant in South Holland, IL and a distribution center in Munster, IN.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Establishes and builds effective and successful relationships with hiring managers and HR business partners at all levels of the organization.
  • Partners with hiring managers to develop and execute adaptable and flexible recruiting plans including sourcing, pre-qualifying, and closing offers with the selected candidates to meet business needs.
  • Tracks results while ensuring compliance with company policy and/or established regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Promotes Carl Buddig and Company as a family company and incorporates the values into the recruiting process.
  • Manages candidates onboarding and orientation including on-going communication, interview itineraries and candidate follow-up during the process.
  • Posts positions for hourly positions.
  • Conducts interviews.
  • Conducts multiple new hire orientation sessions weekly.
  • Works closely with staffing agencies to fill open positions.
  • Enter new hires into HRIS system.
  • Works with HR on orientations and start dates. Follows established hiring practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Education & Experience:



  • Experience: 1-3 years' working experience. Preferably in manufacturing and/or with a staffing agency. ATS Experience (Paycom, iCIMS or other ATS). High School or Higher.


Skills & Abilities:



  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish is a +.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.


Pay range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 depending on experience.
