Poker Dealer - MGM Springfield

The Poker Room Dealer is crucial in upholding game integrity and ensuring an enjoyable experience for players by efficiently dealing cards, managing gameplay, enforcing rules impartially, and delivering attentive service. Their effective communication skills and friendly attitude are key components in creating a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing both the social and competitive aspects of the poker room.

STARTING PAY: $6.75 per hour plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Conduct and assist with operation of poker games
• Ensure accuracy of table bank, table pot, and table rake
• Communicate verbally with supervisors of unnatural or irregular play and dispute on the gameand verbalize player instructions, rules, or any other information as required in the procedures of the game
• Develop customer relations and facilitate the use of the one club card
• Promote and maintain the highest level of service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and respond effectively to guest inquiries

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

• Has 1+ years of poker dealing experience in a similar resort setting.

• Can work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

• Must be 18 years of age.
