Warehouse: Lead nventory Control Associate

Inventory Associates are responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role involves conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring inventory processes align with company standards to support efficient warehouse operations.

What you'll do:



  • Inventory Management: Track, record, and maintain accurate inventory levels in the system. Ensure all transactions are documented and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Cycle Counts: Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and identify variances.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by coordinating with warehouse, receiving, and shipping teams.
  • System Updates: Update and maintain inventory management systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing of adjustments.
  • Stock Organization: Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
  • Reporting: Generate inventory reports and provide insights to management regarding stock levels, trends, and potential issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process enhancements to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with receiving, shipping, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflows and accurate inventory handling.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned.


What you'll bring:



  • Experience: 1+ years of warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using receiving software and systems.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software is a plus.
  • Certifications: Forklift certification is an advantage but not required.
