JOB SUMMARY:

The Product Development Analytics Intern is a full-time position reporting to the Associate Director, Product Development. In collaboration with the Product Development team they are responsible for driving product insights and internally publishing product dashboards. The Product Development Analytics Intern will play an important role in ensuring that accurate, timely, and actionable insights are provided to management.

This position leverages a variety of data sources, employing relevant analytics that will improve Novocure's understanding of market dynamics and product performance. The insights generated will ensure optimal tactical execution and informed decision-making across markets, ultimately driving a meaningful difference for patients.

The Product Development Analytics Intern is pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline with a strong analytical component and has previous experience in data analysis, either through internships, academic projects, or other relevant work.

This is a full-time, temporary position based in our Portsmouth, NH office with the ability to work in the office 1-2 days per week. The length of the internship will be approximately 10-12 weeks, and the role will be reporting to the Associate Director, Product Development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Derive patient behavior insights about Novocure's new patient app from a variety of sources including internal data sources, and analytics tools
  • Create analytics dashboards in a product analytics tool that will show on-going product health, usage patterns, and insights to inform future enhancements
  • Create KPI dashboards for on-going management reporting
  • Collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Product Development to gather, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable product insights
  • Support data validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of data and analysis
  • Work with a variety of internal data sets to identify trends, patterns, and implications for the business



QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

Qualifications:



  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or other related discipline with a strong analytical component


  • Previous experience in data analysis, either through internships, academic projects, or other relevant work.
  • Familiarity with working with sensitive data



Knowledge:



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Desirable but not essential: experience with Predictive Analytics, SQL (Python), or other data analysis tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to ensuring accuracy in all outputs.
  • Demonstrated interest in business strategy and the implications of analytics on business operations and tactical execution, alongside interest in healthcare and pharma/medical device industries.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work closely with the Product Development team and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
