Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Technical Coordinator to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of service. This role will also involve working closely with our team of experienced leaders, caring clinicians, and pioneering technologists to redefine industry expectations and accelerate better healthcare outcomes.

*This is a hybrid position involving remote work with a rotating schedule of going into the office 2 days a week and then 3 days the following week. The office is located in Lombard, IL.

Responsibilities:

  • Work a hybrid role; must live in Chicago land area and be able to report to local office as scheduled
  • Provide technical assistance and support to internal and external customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and solve issues, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, both remotely and on-site as necessary
  • Train customers in the proper use of our products and software, ensuring they maximize their potential
  • Document and maintain accurate records of technical assistance interactions and issue resolution
  • Provide support to Physician Reviewers and process adverse determination letters
  • Stay up to date with product enhancements and new technologies to provide effective support
  • Continuously evaluate and improve technical support processes and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Provide administrative duties in the office as scheduled to include faxing, scanning, and collection of paper medical records
  • Attend meetings as scheduled
  • Promptly log into call center helpline daily to provide technical support
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related field (i.e. healthcare administration, business, communications) or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role or similar working with healthcare providers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of software systems and hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
  • Strong customer service orientation and dedication to delivering exceptional support
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
