Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and supplier
- Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate test complex isolated local area networks on the data, controls, and video systems.
- Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption to support test operations.
- Conduct periodic Information Technology (IT) security vulnerability scans in accordance with approved IT security plans.
- Maintain configuration of controls, data, and video networks.
- Work with IT security analyst to update IT security plans as necessary to reflect changes in equipment or topology
- Assist supervisors and managers in identifying and mitigating potentially hazardous conditions to help maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUISITE SKILLS:
- Experience with government facilities programs desirable but not necessary.
- A working knowledge of the English language is required.
- The candidate shall be able to operate in a team environment, and shall have good interpersonal, reporting and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Following Safety Regulations adhering to safety standards and regulations, including OSHA and other local codes.
- Good time management, organizational, and planning skills are required.
- Knowledge of the principles of local area network operation and maintenance, specifically for test critical systems covered by IT security plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar degree
- At least 5 years experience in operating local area networks in an IT security plan governed environment
- Walk, bend, and stoop several hours per day.
- Must be a U. Citizen in order to obtain required NASA badge.
