Security Operations Supervisor (SOS) Role Overview The Security Operations Supervisor (SOS) plays a vital role in ensuring the daily supervision at the Data Center. The SOS is responsible for overseeing tasks and activities, as directed by the site Security Operations Manager (SOM). Key Responsibilities
- Foster a culture of excellence in security, leading by example and setting high standards
- Provide operational reports to site security management as requested or on a routine basis
- Track and report daily and weekly shift updates, including significant events, team meetings, and training completed
- Lead and support the security team during operations, incident escalation, and response
- Ensure all security posts are manned according to global standards
- Provide support and relief to posts as needed
- Oversee vendor Post Orders (POs) and ensure compliance with client requirements
- Report, escalate, and manage incidents, emergencies, and site issues in accordance with client global standards
- Collaborate with the site Training Coordinator (TC) and SOM to provide up-to-date initiatives based on training needs analysis
- Oversee documented shift handover processes for operational effectiveness
- Act as a liaison between site security management and the data center security team when required
- Ensure uniformed security personnel adhere to global standards
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance security operations
- Providing feedback and coaching to security personnel to enhance their performance
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve staff engagement and motivation
- Complete other tasks, projects, and administrative duties as assigned by the SOM or Client.
