Your responsibilities
Job Summary This position oversees compliance to the policies, procedures, work instructions contained in the quality management system. Also, Responsible for exercising the disposition of material placed in the "Material Review Bay" as well as a resource to Plant personnel as trainer on quality system documents and record keeping duties to show compliance to system requirements. Job Title: Quality Assurance Representative

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) to join our team and play a key role in supporting quality control systems and continuous improvement initiatives within our plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight for document and data control within the plant.

  • Own and maintain measurement devices and oversee quality records.

  • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions, including timely follow-up.

  • Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.

  • Implement statistical control methods for equipment and processes.

  • Accurately process and manage non-conforming material documentation.

  • Maintain accurate records for gages, non-conforming materials, inspection forms, and stamp logs.

  • Act as a trainer for quality department documentation.

  • Collaborate effectively with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers.

  • Uphold TKMNA Employee Attributes and Competencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a working knowledge of Quality Management Systems.

  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or plant environment.

  • Ability to handle short task deadlines and work within a diverse team.

  • Willingness to undergo additional formal training as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification.

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.

  • Training or experience with ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100 quality standards.
